Miss Shwebo Group is a start-up business in Myanmar founded in 2023 operating with a team of energetic and skillful members of the hometown Shwebo. Miss Shwebo group provides premium quality rice, Thanaka and woven fabric which are all purely Shwebo local products in collaboration with Shwebo citizens. Distribution to both local and international markets and creating sustainable job opportunities for local women is the primary purpose of our business.

Shwebo is a historic city located in the Sagaing Region of Myanmar. It holds significance as the birthplace of King Alaungpaya, the founder of the Konbaung Dynasty that ruled Myanmar from the late 18th to the mid 19th century. Shwebo has a rich cultural heritage and is known for its traditional arts and crafts, including weaving, pottery and lacquerware. The city also has historical landmarks such as Shwebo Min Kye  monastery and the Shwebo Palace ruins, which attract visitors interested in Myanmar’s history and architecture. Additionally, Shwebo is an agricultural hub with it’s economy primarily based on farming activities such as rice cultivation and trade.
